Part 2 - Vaduz
Part 3 - Balzers
Part 4 - Triesenberg
Part 5 - Malbun
Part 6 - Eschen
Part 7 - Schellenberg
Triesenberg was the most beautiful place in Liechtenstein at least from the ones we visited. The town is built on the slope of the mountain above Vaduz and from there you can see like half of Liechtenstein and some Swiss mountains.
The view from Triesenberg. Right in the middle you can see the football field of Vaduz where FC Vaduz beat PFC Levski Sofia
Houses are placed along swinging streets and as expected are well-maintained and decorated with different accessories with a mountain theme. For example there are decorative piles of logs for a fireplace beside the doors.
The town seems somewhat more alive than Vaduz and Balzers although the homes do look like a postcard it is obvious that people live in them and we can see them doing normal stuff like walking their dogs or airing the laundry. We pass by an auto repair shop in which people seem to be working and a roaring car passes us by. The car looks like a classic Lada (more likely a Fiat) but obviously the engine had been modified and is very powerful. I suspect these are the kind of projects they work on in the shop. Stickers on cars and motorbikes inform us of the existence of the local biker club Black Roses
Chicks in Trisenberg are impressed by snow ploughs and tractors.
Next time we must try some of the cafes in the town but this time we're heading higher towards Malbun.
