How to make a plasticine yourself
My three-year-old son, like all other children, likes to play with plasticine. Since it’s hard to be sure what’s on the commercially available plasticine, I’ve decided to show how you can make home-made and absolutely harmless plasticine, just for about ten minutes. I would like to point out that this plasticine does not give way to the one bought from the store. Here is the recipe:
Ingredients list:
1 cup of water
½ cup of salt
1 tablespoon of oil
½ tablespoon of citric acid
cooking paint
1 cup of flour
Put all the ingredients without the flour and paint in the casserole (or a small saucepan). Place on the hot plate to warm up and dissolve.
Just before the mixture to boil put the cooking paint. I only put blue, but you can use any other colors, as well as divide the mixture and color each part of a different color.
Finally, put the flour and stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Leave it aside for ten minutes to allow the plasticine to cool down.
And games can start!
It's not tasty, but it's great fun! :)
